Examinations

During each scholastic year at Masquerade, students aged 7+ are prepared for various Trinity College London examinations in Drama and Speech (Group, Solo and Duos), Voice (Singing), drums, guitar, piano and dance. Classes rehearse for various group performance examinations which can range from the initial grades to grade 8 in Performing Arts, Musical Theatre, Devised Scripts and more. Students may also opt to sit for individual Trinity exams which offer syllabi in Individual Acting Skills, Speech and Drama and more. Masquerade also offers examinations in more advanced levels such as diplomas (ATCL, LTCL and FTCL).

 All examinations are accredited by the Malta Qualifications Council and include the following examination boards:

· Speech & Drama, Acting Studies, Musical Theatre Exams & Diplomas – Trinity College London

· Music, Vocals, Guitar, Drums and Piano/Keyboards Exams & Diplomas – Trinity College London

· Communications Exams, Certificates & Diplomas –Trinity College London

· Ballet (Cecchetti) Dance exams and diplomas - ISTD

Masquerade Malta is the Malta Representative for Trinity College London Examinations in Speech & Drama, Performing and Communication Subjects. The vast syllabus incorporates 250 years of experience. This offers an integrated framework to support and encourage the most imaginative learning, teaching and participation in the widest range of performance and communication skills – encompassing all aspects of Drama and Speech, Acting Skills, Musical Theatre, Communication Skills, and Performance Arts. Trinity Guildhall Examinations also offer a syllabus for Performance Diplomas in Drama and Speech, Theatre Arts, Musical Theatre, and Communication Skills. There is also an extensive choice of Diplomas in Teaching, Performing and Directing.
