Welcoming Ms Ison for the Trinity College London March Exams

Ms Ison will be in Malta this week to examine students from Masquerade and other local performing arts schools who will be sitting for their Trinity College London examinations.

Ms Ison was a professional actor for over fifteen years and worked extensively in theatre, from Children’s productions to many classical plays including ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’, ‘Julius Caesar and ‘Bartholomew Fair’ and experimental improvisational theatre. Other work has included several plays with BBC Radio four.

Tania was a founder member of two theatre companies ‘Out of Order’ a comedy Revue company performing on the London Fringe circuit and ‘Harvey Theatre Company’ which toured the UK with two different one person shows.

In 1996 she began teaching and directing and has since had the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects with a great many students of all ages and abilities. Her work (extensively with improvisational drama) has led to work with several specialized groups from private drama schools to Education Support Centres. She has also devised and directed two large scale community theatre projects in Hertfordshire. Tania has also been an Artistic Director/resident writer for three Youth Theatre companies producing and directing a diverse selection of plays from Pinter to Pantomime.

Tania believes drama is important not only as an art form but an essential tool for personal growth and development.
