Masquerade has been an integral part of Petra’s life for the past 15 years. She first started off as a Masquerade student, and then at the age of 18, moved on to teaching, something she is really passionate about. Petra’s performance credits include; ‘A Year and A Day’, ‘DNA’, and ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ for Masquerade, Citizenship and Peter Panto for MADC, ‘Three Sunsets’ and ‘Rubbish’ with TMYT. She also won the 2014 Malta International Theatre Festival award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role, for her performance in Frolic Theatre’s ‘Coco’s Fabulous Speed Dating Soiree’. As Director of Masquerade’s Junior Company, Petra directed two Plays in 2016, ‘The Light in the Library’ and ‘Big Bad’. Petra also forms part of the Teatru Manoel Youth Theatre.

An award-winning playwright, director and producer his theatre credits include: A Christmas Carol (Masquerade Malta / Teatru Manoel co-production) Accidental Death of an Anarchist (Masquerade Malta), Lord of the Flies (Teatru Manoel) and of too many UK tours to list here but including including Hamlet, An Inspector Calls, Of Mice and Men, King Lear, Macbeth, Romeo & Juliet, Alice in Wonderland, Wind in the Willows to name but a handful.

Emma joined Masquerade at the age of five, and following the completion of her training, she began to find her place as a drama tutor at the school and has been teaching for the past 7 years. Emma’s performance credits include ‘Little Red Riding Hood and You Know Who’, ’A - My Name is Alice’, ‘One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest’, ‘Girls Like That’ ‘Alice in Wonderland’ and ‘Brainstorm’, all with Masquerade. As well as, ‘The Three Sunsets’, ‘Rubbish’, ‘Shakespeare in Pieces’ and ‘CLUB’ with TMYT. Emma has now shifted her focus to working behind-the-scenes, taking on various roles such as Assistant Director, Production Manager, ASM and Head of Properties in various productions with different companies over the past five years, as well as putting her passion of photography to use within the theatre scene. Emma hopes to continue to help bring productions to life in different ways, for years to come.
