Join Our Wardrobe Department This January!
Masquerade Theatre Company is seeking a motivated and creative Costume Intern to join our Wardrobe Department starting January 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone with a passion for theatre, fashion, costume design, or backstage production.
As a Costume Intern, you will work closely with our Wardrobe Supervisor and production team to support both the creative and practical aspects of our shows. You will gain hands-on experience in costume management, preparation, and backstage operations during live performances.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting in organising, maintaining, and cataloguing our costume stock.
- Preparing costumes for rehearsals and performances.
- Supporting quick changes and costume transitions backstage during performances.
- Helping with fittings, costume notes, and general backstage wardrobe duties.
- Ensuring costumes are properly stored, cleaned, and ready for each performance.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has an interest in costume design, fashion, theatre, or the performing arts.
- Is organised, practical, and willing to get hands-on.
- Works well in a fast-paced environment and enjoys teamwork.
