Based in Berlin 1930s…..At the notorious Kit Kat Klub in jazz-age Berlin, Cliff, a young American writer, meets Sally Bowles – the Klub’s resident English Chanteuse – who introduces him to life…Fraulein Schneider, the landlady, meanwhile, is being courted by Jewish fruit dealer Herr Schutlz, and agrees to marry him – until she realises what’s happening politically to the Jews.

Cabaret is based on a play by John Van Druten and stories by Christopher Isherwood. Book by Joe Masteroff, Music by John Kander and Lyrics by Fred Ebb.

Masquerade’s production is directed by anthony bezzina, musical director is Paul Abela, choreography is by Emma Evans, set design is by Peter Howitt, and costume design is by Ernest Camilleri.

Cabaret boasts a haunting love story and unforgettable music. This sensational production features some of the most loved show tunes including Willkommen, Don’t Tell Mama, Money Money, Mein Herr and Cabaret. The original 1966 production had won eight Tony awards, including Best Musical. The 1998 revival received four Tony Awards, including Best Musical Revival.
