Based in Berlin 1930s…..At the notorious Kit Kat Klub in jazz-age Berlin, Cliff, a young American writer, meets Sally Bowles – the Klub’s resident English Chanteuse – who introduces him to life…Fraulein Schneider, the landlady, meanwhile, is being courted by Jewish fruit dealer Herr Schutlz, and agrees to marry him – until she realises what’s happening politically to the Jews.
