After last year’s success with Jack and the Beanstalk, Masquerade theatre company is back at the Manoel theatre with another spectacular pantomime, Aladdin. Pantomime goers get a special treat this year as discounted tickets are available for those who book their tickets by 15 November.
Aladdin is being directed by anthony bezzina with an original script by Malcolm Galea who is also playing Widow Twankey. Director anthony bezzina describes the panto as an opportunity to introduce children to the magic of theatre. “The excitement and spectacle of the panto is a perfect way for children to experience the magical atmosphere of theatre.”
The Aladdin pantomime set in Peking has the right ingredients to make it a magical spectacle: a mystical flying carpet, an old lamp, a powerful genie, a gorgeous princess, a giant panda, an evil villain and much more.
Masquerade has brought together an outstanding cast of talented performers and an experienced crew who are now working hard to ensure a fun packed panto full of catchy sing-along songs, laugh out loud antics, lavish costumes and a dazzling set design.
