DRUM lessons are held on an individual basis and will include a variety of different aspects of drumming, from learning how to properly hold the sticks to understanding and applying ergonomic techniques and mastering the kit. There will be a focus on musicality, appreciating different genres, styles and concepts as well as learning how to read music notation. Students are required to have their own drumsticks.
GEORG ZAMMIT is a Maltese drummer, commencing his practical studies as a percussionist with John Farrugia, after studying for nine years, on his first attempt, achieved his grade 8 in percussion. At age 11 he started music theory studies with Mro. Ray Sciberras and at age 21 he applied and joined the Armed Forces band as a musician and singer and today he is a professional percussionist and tenor.
