In 2001 Sharon Bezzina completed an intensive three year drama course at the Malta Drama Centre. She has participated in numerous courses both locally and overseas. These include a vocal workshop by Patsy Rodenburg, a two week Michael Chekhov course and many others in physical theatre and mime.
She obtained the Performance Certificate in Acting studies from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and furthered her studies with LAMDA examinations whereby she achieved with Distinction her Diploma Examination in Acting Studies.
A few theatre credits include: The Pillowman (Little Jesus), Il Mistero Buffo (Mary), Bernard Shaw's 'The Man of Destiny', Apollinaire's 'In the Sante', Deformis (physical theatre based on Titus Andronicus), L-Ghalliema (Alejandra), Ippermettili Nitlaq (Graziella), Camus' 'The Misunderstanding' (Martha), Sartre's 'No Exit' (Estelle), The Rose Tattoo (Rosa), a one woman show based on the poems by Doreen Micallef entitled 'Doreen', Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet (Juliet), In-Nisa Maltin Jafu Kif (Gaby), Pretty Lisa, 'Jiena Nhobb, Inti Thobb (Cynthia) and most recently Sarah in 'Children of a Lesser God' where she interpreted the role of a mute person making use of sign language as a means of communication.
Sharon also toured for 3 weeks with an Irish Theatre Company whereby she performed at the Cork and Dublin Fringe Festival in Ireland.
