Roger Tirazona

Roger studied music and voice at the Johann Strauss School of Music. A musical theatre performer, singer, TV actor, music producer and director, he has a varied 20 year career in the arts and entertainment industry, with performances in a variety of European and Asian countries. He won best artist awards in Naples, Italy and in the New Asian International Singer contest held in Beijing. Theatre credits include Javert in Les Miserables in Concert, Callahan in Legally Blonde, Horton in Seussical and Chauvelin in The Scarlet Pimpernel, Pilate in Jesus Christ Superstar, Lazar Wolf in Fiddler on the Roof, Adam in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers amongst others. Roger’s TV credits include Darren Bartolo in “Il-Klikka” and recently played Benvolio in Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. Roger is also credited in Maltese musicals, mainly Bastilja, Taht Tliet Saltniet, Ali Baba, Andrelisa, Sebah Jum and most recently Gensna in Concert – History Rocks. Roger also performed various musical theatre concerts, including “Simply Webber”, “Comedy Tonight” and “A Night At the Theatre – With the PBS Orchestra.” He was also the vocal coach and musical director for shows like “R&J the Musical”, “13 The Musical” and various Christmas Pantomimes. Roger is also known as a participant in the Malta Eurovision, particularly as one of the founding members of the popular Crossover trio “Trilogy”. Roger is also a composer and music producer, with production work both locally and internationally.
