Neville Refalo

Neville’s career started 15 years ago under the guidance of his singing tutor, Maestro Bryan Cefai.

He took part in various Maltese festivals including the ‘Song for Europe’, ‘Festival Indipendenza’, ‘l-Ghanja tal-Poplu’ and ‘fl-Ghaqda l-Melodija’. He won the Malta Hit Song festival 2009 with the song ‘One Day’ and officially represented Malta in the Universong festival held last summer in the Canary Islands, Spain where he gained the Best International Artist Award. He also represented Malta in the Golden Melody International Festival held in Cyprus as well as the Song of The Mediterranean Festival held in Montenegro. Other national events include Rockestra 2009 & 2010 with the National Philharmonic Orchestra.

Neville forms part of many established local bands, namely Conrad Briffa Band, Brass House Unit, Joe Brown Brass Band, Spiteri Lucas Band, Big Band Brothers & Versatile Brass Band.

Neville is also an actor who participated in various local plays, musicals and TV productions such as Macbeth, Jesus Christ Superstar, Jekyll and Hyde, Moulin Rouge, Zeza tal-Flagship and Lucrezia Borgia on stage as well as Id-Dar tas-Soru, Solitaire, Miriana Coljero’, Amen, Salib it-Toroq, Izd’ImmaMentriPero’.

He is currently in two local TV productions Tereza and Strada Stretta. He was also nominated for Best Supporting Actor in the 2009 Malta Television Awards as well as the Best Song for TV in the 2010 Malta Television Awards.
