After completing his studies in Rome, Francesco moved to London to attend a three-year course in Musical Theatre and Professional Dance at The Urdang Academy (Islington, London), where he was granted a scholarship.
In England he was asked to join the LDF team to perform with Opera Quartet 'That's Amore' during the launch of 'SI'- the Giorgio Armani perfume (Manchester, Cardiff, London, Leicestershire, Wembley) and had the exclusive opportunity to dance for Her Majesty the Queen and the Lord Mayor at San Paul’s Cathedral, London. After graduating he was then offered the position of lead vocalist on board a prestigious cruise liner and also offered a touring contract in Dubai.
His local performances in the past year include: ‘The Best Of Broadway’ (Pjazza Teatru Rjal),‘Opera vs Pop’ (Gozo), Voices Concert - Man In the Mirror (MCC), 'A Night at the Theatre' PBS (MFCC),'Merry Poppins’ (MFCC),'Elisir D'Amore' (Teatru Manoel). 'It Tfajla tal-Ghonella' and 'The Other Door' (Teatru Manoel) ', 1565-the Concert' (MCC). Some other relevant experience: Assisting Television choreographer Claudia Rossi (Amici) in Rome, Performing for Young Art Opening Exhibition/Biscuit Factory in London, Concert Chorale for Anniversary Concert of the World Food Program, Rome.
As a choreographer he has also been working on a number of projects which include 'A my name is Alice'(Masquerade Malta) for The International Arts Festival, 'A Step in Time' (Pjazza Teatru Rjal), Romeo & Juliet (MADC), Notte Bianca 2015 (TMTY, under the direction of Denise Mulholland), ‘Robin Hood and the Babes in the Wood’ (FM Productions) as well as many school productions.
