Dorothy Bezzina (Nancy)

Dorothy Bezzina is no stranger to the local creative scene. Her extensive music and theatre credits, vocal flexibility and versatility are complemented by experience in education, production, direction, as well as academic achievements, making her a multifaceted artist with a diverse skill set.

As co-creator of performing arts collective Revamp MT, Dorothy has produced and directed concerts, musicals, and self-penned works for different age groups. Her latest production, The Band’s Visit (Teatru Manoel, 2023), was nominated as Production of the Year in both the Music and Multidisciplinary categories for Premju għall-Arti.

Dorothy holds a Licentiate in Music Performance from Trinity College London and a Diploma in Classical Voice Performance from the Malta School of Music, guided by Soprano Miriam Cauchi. She also specialises in languages and translation, having graduated with a BA in Maltese and English, a PGDip in Interpreting, and a PGCE (University of Malta). She holds an MA in English (University of Nottingham), a second MA in Popular Music (University of Malta), and is currently pursuing an MSc in Marketing through Glasgow University.
