Chris Dingli - Mr. Wormwood
Trained at Webber Douglas Academy in London.
Chris first performed with Masquerade in 2000 and he quickly established himself playing roles in Amadeus, Cabaret and Proof (all at Teatru Manoel) amongst others.
Recent theatre credits include Comedy Knights (Teatru Salesjan), Harbour Odyssey (Malta International Arts Festival), Macbeth (Teatru Manoel), Joseph & The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat (Teatru Astra), How to be a Londoner in an Hour (Hen & Chickens Theatre).
Recent TV & Film credits include Just Noise (Monolith), Paul, Apostle of Christ (ODB Films), 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi (Paramount Pictures) and Doctors (BBC).
Chris writes his own shows, most notably Bad Dad which he has performed in Malta, UK, at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and on tour in Canada. Other shows include a series of plays for kids under his Shakeshorts brand, including A Midsummer Night’s Dream (ZiguZajg 2016), Macbeth and Bach to School (Culture Pass 2020).
Chris is also a comedian and radio host. He has performed stand up in Malta, Edinburgh, Los Angeles and most recently, in Gozo!
He is married and has two young children who enjoy playing, painting and watching Paw Patrol.
