Alan Paris

This is Alan’s seventh production with Masquerade, having previously played Wormwood in Matilda, Randal McMurphy in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Gary/Roger in Noises Off, Webby in Painting by Numbers, Adrian in Private Eyes and Mr Mushnik in Little Shop of Horrors. Other recent productions include Certified Male, and the two one-man shows Every Brilliant Thing and I am My Own Wife. Other roles include Tucker in The Lockerbie Bomber, various roles in The 39 Steps and Stones in his Pockets, The Alchemist in The Alchemist, Dr Dysart in Equus, Mitch in A Streetcar Named Desire, Ariel in The Pillowman, Edward in Someone Who’ll Watch Over Me, and Bishop in Fat Men in Skirts. Other musical credits include Alfie Doolittle in My Fair Lady, David in Company, and Amos in Chicago. Shakespeare credits include Macduff in Macbeth, Orsino in Twelfth Night and Master Ford in The Merry Wives of Windsor.

Alan is also part of the touring company of They Blew Her Up, and has also played small roles in cinema and TV in 13 hours, Game of Thrones and Agora.
