anthony bezzina has been established as a theatre director for over 35 years. He trained at the Manoel Theatre Academy of Dramatic Arts (M.T.A.D.A.) and at Webber Douglas in London. In 2018, Tony has obtained an FTCL Diploma in Directing from Trinity College London.
Following various theatrical experiences in Malta, together with his wife Veronica, they launched their own theatre company Masquerade in 1997, a year that would initiate the start of many exciting productions and projects. anthony has led the vision to establish and lead the Masquerade School for the Performing Arts. He has taught, mentored and directed drama students over the past 20 years and is also the National Manager of Trinity College London in Malta. His theatre work has taken him to the US, UK, Italy and other European countries. He is currently working on a number of European and international cultural projects, establishing links with both national and international partners.
Anthony has recently been awarded the Cross of Merit and Distinction Honor by the Federation of Autonomous Priories of the Sovereigh Order of St. John of Jerusalem, for the outstanding work done for the development, progress and promotion of the Performing Arts and Culture in Malta
