Making Sense of the Teenage Brain

3 & 4th March 2018

Blue Box - M Space, Msida

Inside every adolescent brain, 86 billion neurons connect and collide to produce the most frustrating, chaotic and exhilarating changes that will ever happen to us.

Brainstorm is a unique and innovative theatrical investigation into how teenagers’ brains work, and why they’re designed by evolution to be the way they are.

Created by Ned Glasier and Emily Lim with Company Three, in collaboration with neuroscientists Professor Sarah-Jayne Blakemore and Dr Kate Mills, the play is created and performed by a young company, drawing directly on their personal experiences.

Brainstorm is a play about teenage brain development, told through the real-life experiences of young people who create and perform it (It was originally created for UK’s Youth National Theatre). This production will then be performed for students aged 13-16. At the end of each show there a guided question and answer session will be held with the Students and Performers.

A Masquerade Theatre Company production forming part of the CULTURE PASS 2017-18 programme.
