04 April 2017
Following the success of their Acting for Film Masterclass, actor Chris Dingli and director Jameson Cucciardi have teamed up with Masquerade School for the Performing Arts to create the 10 Week Acting For Film Course.
The aim of the course is to give students a thorough grounding in the field of filmmaking from an actor’s perspective. Meeting once a week over a period of 10 weeks, students will work closely with the tutors over a range of topics, including script analysis, character study work, improvisation, audition techniques, casting workshop, and camera technicals. Students will gain on-camera experience at every lesson, with constructive feedback from the tutors. At the end of the course, students will have a secure knowledge of what is expected from them as an actor from the moment they attend an audition to the day they arrive on set to shoot a movie. They will also leave the course with a firm idea of their casting bracket and how to pursue a career in film. Perhaps most importantly, they will also leave the course with a scene to use in their show reel. This course is perfect for anyone looking to expand their career in film. Whether you’re a beginner new to the industry or someone who needs a refresher, the skills, techniques and methods you will learn on this course can give you the best chance of a successful career as an actor.
Course starts 24th April 2017. Places are extremely limited as the class is deliberately being kept small to ensure that everyone gets individual attention.
