Louiselle has been active in the theatre for the past 30 years, after MASQUERADE’s Tony Bezzina spotted her in a crowd of extras and cast her in what would be her first of five pantomimes in 1989.
Since then, she has played a variety of characters in comedies, musicals and pantos, as well as the occasional part in more sober dramatic productions.
Roles in musicals include Sally Bowles in Cabaret, Nellie Forbush in South Pacific, Mrs Bumble in Oliver, Lily St Regis in Annie, and a street urchin in Little Shop of Horrors, whilst her more dramatic characters include Laura Wingfield in A Glass Menagerie, Toine in Piaf and Emmi Straube in Taking Sides. When it comes to comedy, which seems to be her more natural “habitat”, parts include Darlene in Do Not Disturb, Paige Janssen in Dinner, and various characters in all four editions of FourPlay.
She is also a founding member of Theatre anon., with whom she performed in Candide, La Bete and Ospizio, amongst others.
