Jayne has been on and off a stage since the age of 8 when she discovered ballet and attended lessons at the Royal Academy of Dance, Battersea, London. As a teenager, Theatre Studies became her passion and best subject in High School. She continued to keep active within the performance arts sector on a part time basis within theatre productions; acting, directing and set design, mostly performing at Wimbledon Studio Theatre, London. Today she now lives in Gozo, Malta and works as a professional actress. At the end of 2019 she set up her own production company with the aim of bringing more intimate theatre to Gozo. Covid-19 has made progress slow but during this set back in 2020 she co-wrote a play, which she is currently working towards producing. More recently she has been working on film sets credited both as cast and crew. One of her latest TV credits was being cast in the new Apple TV Series ‘Foundation’ as Mother Zephyr and her latest theatre appearance, playing 4 characters, was in Kes, the first play staged at the Blue Box Theatre since the 2021 re-opening of theatres in Malta after the pandemic induced closures. At this time of writing she is also representing Malta in the global finals of the World Monologue Games competition.
